SEAN KOLBOHM RIP

An Charraig Naomh Pádraig wish to express our deepest sympathy to the family of Sean Kolbohm, former player and chairman of our Club. Sean was more than just a player or chairman when he fulfilled those roles within our club, giving 100% commitment to everything he did and also as a manager to various teams, all for the benefit of his club. Even in later years when not involved on the field of play or in the committee room, Sean was always more than willing to lend a helping hand in any way he could, a true club man. His heart was in his club. Sean was also instrumental in helping our club to a position where we could purchase and build our present facilities which were opened in 1998. Possibly one of his proudest moments on the field was as a young member of our team which won the Tyrone Junior Championship in 1982, beating Eskra in the final at Pomeroy. Indeed, our club is indebted to Sean for all his hard work, committment and dedication to the club throughout his lifetime, something which unfortunately cannot now be repaid to him. Sean was a true Gael, a gentleman and an honest man both on and off the field, Sean will be sorely missed in the Rock community and by all who knew him, and especially his family, and we offer our sincere condolences to his wife Deirdre, son Karl, daughter Sarah, mother Kate, brothers Paddy, Michael, Gerry, Paul, Martin and Peadar, and sisters Bridget Ann, Marion and Katie. May he Rest in Peace.
