LOTTO

Lotto numbers for Monday 8th October were 1, 10, 19, 21. No Jackpot winners and two match three winners winning £50 each, Martina Kelly and Lesley Donaghy. This weeks Jackpot is £3250.

U16'S

Well done our U16's on a great performance at home v Killeeshil in Saturdays Championship quarter final, the boys winning after extra time after the game had finished 2.16 each after normal time, a great team performance winning on a final scoreline of Rock 3-20 Killeeshil 2-20, well done to the boys and management. The team on Saturday was: Jason Cunningham, Ruari O'Neill Martin Ward Jake Lagan Ethan Bloomer James McGurk, Niall O'Neill Shea Daly, Danny McCloskey Odhran Nugent Matthew Devlin Thomas Collins Aidan Carroll. A speedy recovery is wished to Corey McElduff who suffered an injury recently. The U16 semi final is due to take place this Saturday 20th October at 12pm, venue to be confirmed.

FRIENDS OF ROCK BIG DRAW

Friends of Rock big draw will take place on Friday 30th November 2018 in the Glenavon Hotel, Cookstown. Just 7 weeks to go! There is £15,000 prize money with a top prize of £10,000. 2nd prize of £3,000. 3rd prize of £1,000. 4 prizes of £500 and 5 prizes of £100. And some lucky people will win this in time for Christmas! All proceeds from the draw will go towards the development of our new community hub. And for the 1st time in our history Rock St Patricks GAC and Rock Ladies GFC will jointly host their player of the year awards. It is sure to be a great night and we look forward to seeing you all there. Further details will be announced in due course. A small team of ticket sellers are currently visiting every house in the Rock area selling tickets for our big draw which will take place in November. Ticket prices as follows; 1 ticket £20, 3 tickets £40, Book of 8 tickets £100, 6 books of 8 tickets £500, 15 books of 8 tickets £1000. We realise that people have been very generous already with donations and direct debit pledges but one last push before the draw finishes will make a massive difference in financing the building of the hub. We ask you to please give what you can.

OVER 35'S CHARITY CHALLENGE

Our over 35's Charity Challenge takes place this Saturday 20th October in Pairc Naomh Padraig at 5pm. Team Foyle captained by Martin Hackett take on Kevin McGeehans Team Shannon with Foyle eight points up from the first leg leading 4-7 to 1-8. All proceeds/donations from the game will be going to former senior player Conor Devlin recently diagnosed with cancer. All welcome to come out and show support for this worthy cause. Refreshments will be served in the club mobile after the game, all welcome.

CONGRATULATIONS

Well done to two of our U14 girls who have been included in the Tyrone U14 Academy squad, Molly McCloskey & Niamh Lagan, Congratulations girls.
