LOTTO

Lotto numbers for Monday 27th August were 7, 14, 17, 18. No Jackpot winner and two match three winners winning £50 each, Margaret Hayden and Helen Mc Creesh.

FRIENDS OF ROCK BIG DRAW

Its offical. Friends of Rock big draw will take place on Friday 30th November 2018 in the Glenavon Hotel, Cookstown. Just 12 weeks to go! There is £15,000 prize money with a top prize of £10,000. 2nd prize of £3,000. 3rd prize of £1,000. 4 prizes of £500 and 5 prizes of £100. And some lucky people will win this in time for Christmas! All proceeds from the draw will go towards the development of our new community hub. And for the 1st time in our history Rock St Patricks GAC and Rock Ladies GFC will jointly host their player of the year awards. It is sure to be a great night and we look forward to seeing you all there. Further details will be announced in due course.

JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP

Rock bowed out of the Junior Championship against Clogher at Loughmacrory on Saturday. Final score was Rock 0-13 Clogher 1-13. Rock scorers: Liam Nugent 0-8 Arthur Donaghy 0-2 Tommy Bloomer 0-2 Enda McWilliams 0-1.

U16'S

Our U16's have been kindly sponsored with a new strip by C.McIlvar Ltd., Chartered Planning Consultants based in Cookstown. Many thanks to Carol Gourley of C Mc Ilvar Ltd. Carol, along with Ciaran and baby Olivia recently presented the new strip to the team and coaches Cathal McWilliams, Karl Kolbohm and Barry Coyle. The U16's have completed their league campaign and are due to play in the Championship in the coming weeks. Details to be confirmed.

U12'S

The U12's upcoming fixtures are: Monday 10th Sept Coalisland(h), Mon 17th Sept Kildress(h). Both those games are at home. U12 training continues Friday nights @ 7pm-8pm.

U10'S

Our U10's played their final blitz of the year at Moortown on Saturday last. One narrow defeat to Clonoe & wins against Moortown, Aghaloo & Brocagh, well done boys and thanks to Moortown for their hospitality.

U11'S EMYVALE TOURNAMENT

Our U11 team take part in the Emyvale U11 Brendan Colton memorial tournament this Saturday 15th September. Registration for the tournament is at 9.30am. It is hoped to have a bus for our players which will probably leave Rock pitch at approx 8.30am. More details on this later.

U8'S/U6'S

Our U6's had their final blitz of the year on Saturday in Donaghmore. All the players played very well in games v Donaghmore and Galbally. Well done all and thanks to Donaghmore for their hospitality. The U8's final blitz of the year is on Saturday 15th September.

TYRONE LADIES

Best of luck from An Charraig Naomh Padraig to Tyrone ladies senior team in the All Ireland Intermediate final v Meath in Croke Park on Sunday at 1.45pm. Live coverage of the game is on TG4.

SYMPATHY

Deepest sympathy is expressed to Colm and Brenda McCloskey on the recent death of Brendas father, Bobby Bittles(Belfast), grandfather of youth players Danny, Molly and Grace and also Maria. Deepest sympathy is also expressed to the Devlin and Donaghy families on the recent death of Danny Mullan(Draperstown). May they Rest in Peace.
